HAPPY FRIDAY!

Today is the last day of our HEADLOCK shoot in Maine.

We still have one day of shooting to do in LA but that wont happen for about a month.

I can hardly believe we’ve accomplished what we have.

Everyone involved has showed up and brought such incredible energy and passion to this little film that could.

I knew it was my passion project.

But it’s been so magical to watch the entire cast and crew pour their everything into it as it’s become theirs as well.

My brain is brimming with all things HEADLOCK, without a lot of space for anything else.

So this weeks DIRTY LITTLE FRIDAY will be brief.

Earlier this summer (Last summer? What is time?) my friend Alex Picon travelled to Maine to shoot a story with me for the premier issue of his Parachute Zine.

.

He’s a long time reader of DIRTY LITTLE FRIDAYS and wanted to do something dark and dirty.

But make it ‘fashion’.

He brought (soooooo many) duffels and trunks of pieces from up and coming designers to give the dead boy treatment.

I cast Isaac (who you’ve seen before if you’ve been here a while) as our magical woodland creature and over the course of a couple days we shot a story that reminded me what I love about shooting fashion.

Now it’s back to all things HEADLOCK…

Our call time today is 3pm.

:/

That means we’ll be shooting til about 4 or 5 am and then crashing to sleep so deeply I may not get out of bed for days.

Not true.

Tomorrow we have to wrap out of all the houses and cast and crew will start departing and heading their separate ways so the real rest won’t come until next week.

BUT WE MADE A FUCKING MOVIE.

One that I LOVE.

One I think you’re gonna love too.

Here’s a little teaser from the HEADLOCK set earlier this week :) We made a mess. I was reminded how much I love my dead boys bloody. Expect to see (a whole lot) more blood when I get back to shooting again…
