It’s so interesting (and sometimes surprising) to see exactly how you guys vote on polls like this. It rarely goes the way I expect it to, but I’m sooo happy you love Matteo as much as I do.

I can’t tell you much about his character yet, but what do you think of his BRUISERS teeshirt?

We made a couple for our final day of shooting in Los Angeles a few weeks ago.

.

I really want to make piles of them (BRUISER teeshirts) to have on hand at screenings and film festivals.

Cutoffs. Sleeveless. Sweatshirts. Tanks.

All printed on super worn out vintage finds from the bins at the Goodwill Outlet (Eternal props to costume designer Rob Younkers for pulling together 99.9 % of our HEADLOCK wardrobe on a budget of 3$ a pound.

I’m not entirely sure how I made it this far in life without going to a MONSTERPALOOZA.

.

I went last weekend and had a blast roaming around, taking in all the horror goodness.

My all-time fave IMMORTAL MASKS was there with hundreds and hundreds of pieces. (Somehow I didn’t take that many pictures and didn’t end up coming home with a new mask)

It felt a bit more toy and kitch-y horror leaning than I would have liked, but I still had a great time roaming the halls of the Pasadena Convention Center.

It also made me want to go to Misdsummer Screams - which is apparently more haunted attraction focused.

.

I’m back in NYC for the summer, holed up in my apartment with all the blinds down, working on the edit of HEADLOCK for the foreseeable future.

NYC is not my first choice for where to spend a hot, sticky summer, but oh well.

.

I’ve got tickets to a few horror movies at Tribeca this week (MUTTER, which I saw a rough cut of and LOVED. BREEDER, produced by the guys who did HEADLOCK with me, and RECLUSE, starring the one and only Toby Poser, who also stars in HEADLOCK).

Should be a good week.

I’m gonna work hard not to let the swampy summer city get to me.

Lots of movies.

Hopefully, some Broadway shows (I still haven’t seen Rocky Horror, Lost Boys, or Cats Jellicle Ball yet).

Lots of early morning and evening long walks to get up and out of the dark editing room (aka my apartment:)
