DIRTY LITTLE FRIDAYS
WITH ALL THE DEAD BOYS ..................
3.27.26 SIMON

HAPPY FRIDAY!
This has been a crazy week.
Cast and crew of the film have started arriving in Maine for our shoot.
We are finalizing props and wardrobe and trying to figure out schedule and how the fuck we are going to keep everyone fed.
This final rush leading up to the shoot is always when things seem like they won’t possibly come together in the time we have.
.
I just have to keep reminding myself that it somehow always does.

If you’ve been here a while, you’ll recognize “Simon”.
You’ve seen him before.
His name is Eric.
.
But these shots are of him in character as Simon (his character in the film). He arrived in Maine last week and has been helping to do all the things that need to get done before shooting starts.
This shoot was a lighting test inside “The Boathouse”.
It’s where Simon works out (among other things).

For the next few weeks we’ll be shooting HEADLOCK, and though I intend to get DIRTY LITTLE FRIDAYS out each week, I have no idea how much time or energy I’ll have for them.
Definitely not enough to handle 🍌 replies :)
.
So please, please, please - for the duration of our shoot - send us some gooooooood energy.
.
Light a candle. Say a little prayer. Whatever works for you.
On a scrappy little film like this, we’ll take (and need) all the goodwill we can get.
.
Even if it’s transmuted from strangers hundreds (thousands) of miles away.
It all helps.
Though to be honest, I don’t really consider you ‘strangers’ - even if we’ve never spoken or met…
.
Thanks so much for being here.
I really do appreciate it.
.
Carter

.
P.S.
Anyone familiar with Neville Goddard?
His approach to sending / transmuting energy and manifestation is fascinating and 100% what I’m hoping for here :) He left behind hundreds of hours of recorded lectures (all now in the public domain) when he died in 1972, and inspired thinkers like Joe Dispenza, Wayne Dyer, Carlos Castaneda and Rhonda Byrne. It’s worth listening to some of his lectures (just make sure to find the “real” recordings - not the AI voiced versions). His book FEELING IS THE SECRET is also a great place to start.
