HAPPY FRIDAY!

Well, it’s Friday, and we’ve (almost) made it to the end of week two of shooting HEADLOCK.

.

Our call time today is 3.30 - which means we’ll be working through the night tonight until almost sunrise.

.

As hard as I try (blackout blinds, sleep mask, no phone in the bedroom) I just can’t seem to sleep all that late. I was awake at 8 - and forced myself to stay in bed until 9 - which isn’t all that bad considering we wrapped last night around 2am.

But there is no denying that I do much better (at pretty much everything) when I get a full eight hours of sleep.

But that’s pretty unrealistic during a shoot like this one.

.

Tonight, we shoot a sequence in the unfinished crawlspace under the house where most of the film takes place.

It’s soooo creepy down there - which is exactly why it ended up in the film.

.

Tomorrow, our stunt coordinator arrives in Maine to start working out a bunch of sequences that we’ll be shooting next week.

.

.

We’ve got pickups to shoot and fights to choreograph all weekend, and then it’s into the final stretch.

.

I’m sure I’ll be a puddle of exhaustion next Friday when we wrap.

.

But I guarantee I’ll be the happiest puddle ever.

.

I haven’t been watching or reading ANYTHING except dailies and our script, but hoping to catch up on life once we wrap and I emerge from this HEADLOCK bubble.
